I worry about these issues a lot, being a Back female in the web/tech industry, and knowing of other Black web/tech professionals and the issues they face. Some people like to pretend the nuances of racism are not existent in these situations, but they are. I don&#039;t let them hold me back, or bother me too much, but you can&#039;t turn a blind eye to them either.</description>

		<description>I look forward to the day when race need not even be an issue or concern. I don&#039;t mean that race should be ignored: cultural history is very important. It&#039;s good to know where you came from. However, if a person shall be judged, let it be so by his or her actions and accomplishments and personality and relationship to other persons rather than by physical characteristics.
